The 2017 Rhythmic Open Championships for Levels 5 & 6 was held in Lake Placid, NY, on May 26 – 29, 2017. This was a large-scale rhythmic event, where several hundreds of the best gymnasts from all over USA arrived to show their skills and compete for medals, the last and the most important competition for Levels 5&6. IK School of Rhythmic Gymnastics had 9 gymnasts participating in the event. IK gymnasts traditionally rank high at state, regional and national gymnastics competitions, but the 2017 Rhythmic Open Championship has become a truly amazing journey for us.  We are extremely proud of our gymnasts, their coaches and their families for the hard work, continuous support and trust – together we did something really great! 13 gold, 5 silver and 6 bronze medals, 1st and 3rd places AA over all gymnasts (regardless of age) in Level 6, 3rd AA place in Group Performance and the title of the best rhythmic gymnastics school in USA (Combined L5-L6 Team Ranking) – this year we have a lot to be proud of. All these achievements are the result of so much work of our girls, their coaches and parents, this is the victory for all of us! Huge congratulations to our Level 5 & 6 with such a great end of the competitive season!
